Tiny home builders have become more and more creative throughout the years, and this one man is the perfect example of that. Labelling his creation “metal art”, he was able to turn odd materials into a stunning and unique home.
Tiny homes are the latest trend in sustainable living, and they’re taking off like wildfire. From a tiny house on wheels to an RV, these homes can be found in all shapes and sizes. The beauty of tiny homes is that they offer an affordable and eco-friendly way of living while still providing plenty of space for all your needs.
One builder has even gone above and beyond to create a unique tiny home from two metal containers.
Nick was determined to take his six acre property situated in the middle of a forest and turn it into something special. As an experienced tiny home builder, he decided to purchase two high cube 40-foot long containers for $12,000 and start construction on his dream home – dubbed “The Sea Container Cabin”.
After six months and $250,000 worth of investment into the project, Nick created a beautiful 640 square feet living quarters with luxurious amenities such as a steam shower, hot tub, two full bedrooms and most impressively – a staircase made from 78 inch steel rods that he calls “metal art”.
Not only did Nick manage to make his space look expansive due to an open floor plan but also opted for sustainable materials such as cork tiles/planks which can cost around $2-$12 per square foot every nine years when harvested again from its original source.
His efforts have been praised by hundreds who flooded the comments section with positive reactions ranging from admiration over his enthusiasm for the house to being inspired by this ingenious design idea.
Nick isn’t alone in turning odd materials into beautiful tiny homes; some couples have even managed to save money while going tiny! One couple converted their school bus into an impressive RV saving thousands with off-grid living while another couple turned their school bus into a successful DIY project without any professional construction experience.
It just goes to show how creative you can get when it comes to building your own personal oasis in whatever shape or form you desire.
