Mardi Gras Hurricane
What's a better way to celebrate upcoming Mardi Gras than with a hurricane? This classic drink is delicious but strong, so fair warning!
Ingredients
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz gin
- 2 oz gold rum
- 1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
- 1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
- 1 tbsp grenadine
- grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, passion fruit puree as needed
- simple syrup optional, to taste
- orange slices and maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the vodka, gin, rum, amaretto, triple sec, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice until chilled. Strain them into a glass and add grenadine
- Fill the remaining space with passion fruit juice or equal combination of pineapple and grapefruit juices. Stir to combine and garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherries
