Ingredients

lbs
boneless skinless chicken breasts

cup
BBQ sauce
of choice
1/2
cup
white or yellow onion
diced
Instructions
Cut up the onion and gather the other ingredients
Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of a slow cooker, preferably a 6 quart slow cooker
Top with onion and bbq sauce, then cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours
Remove the chicken and shred, using tongs or two forks
Return the chicken to the slow cooker and toss in the sauce
Serve alone or on buns, as preferred
Notes
For best texture cook on low for 6-7 hours, if you have to you can cook on high for 3-4 hours
