Bullied to Babe
VanZant’s legal surname used to be Sletton, so you can imagine the fun kids had with her in school.
She got tired of the kids calling her Slutton, so she eventually changed her last name to VanZant.
All of that bullying led to a desire to defend herself, which is what led her to her path in the MMA and beyond.
She has had 13 professional fights, winning eight overall, two by knockout, three by submission (one technical submission), and three by decision.
VanZant is also signed by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and All Elite Wrestling.
She has also dabbled in reality TV, shooting “Dancing with the Stars” in 2016, finishing as the runner-up.
