College athletes today have it hand over fist better than their counterparts of only a decade ago.
Rules changing the ability of athletes to be able to market themselves for profit has been a gamechanger, especially when it comes to sexy female athletes.
Enter Olivia Dunne, a college gymnast who finds herself with a 7-figure bank account at the age of, wait for it… 19.
Posting Her Way to Millions
Dunne is a talented gymnast for the LSU squad…
When the NCAA lifted the ban on NIL restrictions, she was one of the first to jump in with both feet.
She has racked up more than two million followers on Instagram and more than five million on TikTok.
This equates to millions in income for simply posting pictures and videos with endorsed products…
Of course, it does not hurt that Dunn is easy on the eyes, giving off that All-American vibe…
After the NIL changes, she signed with WME Sports, which also represents the likes of Serena Williams.
The move paid off huge, with Dunne pulling in more than $1 million in her first year…
She reportedly now has deals in place with Forever 21, American Eagle, and Vuori.
Collectively, those deals are well into six figures.
Dunne, on her newfound riches and fame, stated, “I just want to be a role model to young girls.
“I want to set a good example…I’m kind of just going with the flow, and it’s very exciting.”
Craig Brommers, the CMO of American Eagle, stated, “She is an outstanding gymnast from an SEC school, but she has an authentic, optimistic persona on social media. And she looks great in a pair of American Eagle jeans.
“That to me is the magic we’ve been looking for as we explore this brave new world of NIL.”
