I will be the first to admit that fashion shows are not really my thing.
The clothing is usually utterly ridiculous and nothing the average person would ever consider wearing in public.
These are nothing more than elitist festivals and a place to be seen.
Well, my opinion just changed.
Is That Really Tape?!
Okay, maybe I have watched a VS fashion show or two, but that is about as far as it goes.
I did, however, stumble on to a new fashion show that I will have to keep my eye out for from now on.
It is called the Black Tape Project, where women wear nothing but, well, tape…
This is the brainchild of designer Joel Alvarez, the self-proclaimed “King of Tape.”
While the “swimwear” leaves little to the imagination, it took as long as 12 hours to get some of these models ready for the show.
And that was BEFORE Alvarez added the final touches to some of them on stage…
I won’t bore you with the self-adulation on his website (you can read that if you want on the link at the bottom), but this is something that turns some heads…
