Anyone who attended Miami Swim Week had two for the price of one if they are Denise Austin fans.
Denise Austin was one of the featured ladies on the runway, but so was her daughter.
Denise, who is 65 and looks about half that, put other models to shame.
Well, except for her daughter, Katie, 29, who graced the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for the first time.
Stopping Traffic
Denise has been involved in fitness virtually her entire life.
She was a world-class gymnast at the University of Arizona, specializing in the balance beam.
After her college days, she started to produce fitness videos.
She also served on George W. Bush’s President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
You would think maybe, just maybe, she would slow it down, but that is not the case…
She still works out daily and even catches a few waves now and again…
She and her daughter, Katie, stole the show at Swim Week…
As you can see, Katie does not fall from the tree.
So much so, she has garnered her own following in the fitness world…
She has already lapped her mother on Instagram and is becoming increasingly popular with every passing day…
When her mother retires from the fitness industry, she knows her legacy will be in good hands with Katie.
