Bourbon Ball Hot Chocolate

- 3 cups whole milk
- 8 Oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 Oz Bourbon
- mini marshmallow and whipped cream
to rim glass(optional)
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
Whisk in chocolate, sugar, and salt and cook, whisking frequently until mixture is smooth and creamy and chocolate is melted, about 5 minutes
Add bourbon and vanilla to the hot chocolate mixture and stir to combine starting with 2 ounces of bourbon and working your way up
To Rim Glass(optional)
Pour cornstarch and pecans in two separate shallow bowls or plates
Dip the rim of your glasses into the cornstarch, then into the pecans
Divide hot chocolate among prepared mugs, then top with marshmallows or a dollop of whipped cream
