Bourbon Ball Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 3 cups whole milk
- 8 Oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 Oz Bourbon
- mini marshmallow and whipped cream
to rim glass(optional)
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions
- Whisk in chocolate, sugar, and salt and cook, whisking frequently until mixture is smooth and creamy and chocolate is melted, about 5 minutes
- Add bourbon and vanilla to the hot chocolate mixture and stir to combine starting with 2 ounces of bourbon and working your way up
To Rim Glass(optional)
- Pour cornstarch and pecans in two separate shallow bowls or plates
- Dip the rim of your glasses into the cornstarch, then into the pecans
- Divide hot chocolate among prepared mugs, then top with marshmallows or a dollop of whipped cream
