We can all be glad that Sarah Shahi changed her birth name.
Being of Iranian and Spanish descent, her birth name was Aahoo Jahansouzshahi.
Thankfully, she shortened that mouthful.
A Dream Come True
Sarah was born in Texas, so becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader had to be a dream come true…

As we often see with former Cowboys cheerleaders, she used that to open up other doors…

For Sarah, it was going into acting…

One of her first big breaks was playing Carmen de la Pica Morales on “The L Word.”

She also had a recurring role on “Person of Interest” for a few seasons…

You can now see her on “Sex/Life” as Billie Connelly…

Sarah also has a movie out now called, “Red, White, and Royal Blue,” playing Zahra Brankston.
