Supermodel Heidi Klum, 48, recently shared a few bikini pictures on her Instagram, showing off her perfect abs and legs.
As a supermodel, Heidi Klum knows how to look great in practically everything, especially bikinis. What was even more surprising about these photos though, was the fact that Klum looks like she’s in better shape than she’s ever been in before.
Rather than writing a witty caption, Heidi simply gave credit to her husband, Tom Kaulitz, along with a heart emoji.
Wearing a purple print string bikini and a quirky baseball cap, the supermodel is lounging on a boat deck, showing off her flawless body.
These weren’t the only bikini pictures that Heidi shared. In another post, she is standing, wearing the same bikini. The photo is simply captioned: “😎☀️❤️.”
Unlike most celebrities who likely get off to reading all of the comments from their adoring fans, it seems that Heidi doesn’t care for it, as she turned the comments off for both posts.
Despite this, many people had questions about how she stays in such great shape.
In a previous interview with Women’s Health, the supermodel revealed that she has been a runner for years, but she prefers to run in the great outdoors rather than in a gym.
“I don’t love running on a treadmill,” Heidi said. “I really prefer to be outside or get my exercise in while playing with my kids. But sometimes, after I’ve run those two miles and I check it off the list, I’m happy I took the time.”
Her favorite running route is in NYC.
“My favorite place to run is a long stretch on the West Side Highway, which goes along the Hudson River in New York City,” she said. “It’s a beautiful path, and you always feel surrounded by such an amazing community. You see the same people running every morning, and they inspire me to keep going.”
Heidi also tries to balance healthy eating and exercise, especially because of her age.
“Your metabolism definitely changes when you turn 40,” she said in an interview with Women’s Health UK. “I always thought, “That’s not going to happen to me.’ But it is happening to me. If I indulge more, I have to exercise more. I’ve figured out what works for me.”
“There’s pasta, bread, chicken, fish and vegetables,” she said. “I’ll eat everything but the pasta and bread. Do I want pasta? I do. I choose not to eat it.”
Heidi does have some guilty pleasures: chips and chocolate.
“I love barbecue chips, especially the folded ones,” she said. “Whenever my kids and I are eating them and they find a crunchy, folded one, they know to give it to me! I also have a serious weakness for Kinder Schokolade — for me, it tastes like home. It’s the perfect sweet treat.”
