Kendall Jenner shared some throwback photos from last Valentine’s Day of herself modeling a red micro thong and matching bikini top, flaunting her flawless figure.
The 26 year old former reality TV star took to her Instagram stories to share a few throwback photos with her 218 million followers for Valentine’s Day.
In the various pictures, Kendall posed in front of a pink background wearing a red bra and matching red micro thong bottoms.
She let her long brown hair hang looses around her shoulders, accessorizing the look with a pair of clear pointed-toe high heels.
She captioned the throwback photos: “Vday tomorrow,” reminiscing about last year’s photoshoot.
Of course, not everyone was happy with the photos the first time they were shared, so there may be some backlash again this time around.
According to reporting from The Sun, Jenner was attacked by critics for promoting “unrealistic body standards,” with some even going so far as to claim that the pictures were “photoshopped.”
While yes, Kendall is certainly unbelievably thin, and the photos are likely touched up (as most pictures of celebrities are), it’s ridiculous how much thin and healthy women are attacked today. Just by sharing pictures of themselves, they are criticized and blamed for promoting unrealistic standards, while unhealthy people are allowed to actively promote an unhealthy lifestyle. As far as I’m concerned, Kendall can post herself, be proud of her body and her health, and promote being thin and healthy all she wants. Keep killin’ it girl!
