Miley Cyrus suffered a major wardrobe malfunction on live television on New Year’s Eve. The 29 year old singer was hosting a TV special to ring in the new year called “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party,” featuring musical performances.
While she was performing, Miley was dressed rather provocatively, wearing a tiny silver top that began to come loose as she sang her hit song “We Can’t Stop.”
Just as she was finishing, and transitioning into the next song, “Party in the U.S.A.,” Miley had to grab her top to keep it from falling off.
She held it in place for a few seconds, continuing to sing, before apparently realizing it was going to take too much effort. Turning around (likely to avoid a hefty fine from the FCC), she tossed the top to the ground and exited the stage, while her band and backup singers continued with the song.
Barely missing a few lines of the song, Miley came back to the stage in a red blazer, jumping back in just before the perfect line, only adding one word to the lyrics.
“Everybody’s definitely looking at me now,” she sang, before joking that she’s “still in the most clothes that I’ve ever worn on stage.”
