Katie Thurston is officially single again. According to a post on her Instagram, the Bachelorette star and her fiancé Blake Moynes have broken off their engagement.

Thurston, who was raised in Lynnwood, Washington, got her start on season 25 of The Bachelor, and later was the star of The Bachelorette season 17. Prior to becoming famous, she was a bank marketing manager in Renton, Washington.

At the end of season 17 of The Bachelorette, Katie chose Blake Moynes, and the two soon got engaged.

Unfortunately for them, their engagement didn’t last. In a recent post on her Instagram, she wrote:

“It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently. We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.”
