There was a time just a few years ago when people were wondering if Carrie Underwood would perform again.
She had just been walking her dogs when she slipped, breaking her wrist and causing a horrific injury to her face.
She would require upwards of 50 stitches above her lip and surgery on her wrist.

On her accident, she stated, “…I went to catch myself and I just missed a step. If I had fallen anywhere else, I would have been perfectly fine. But it was one step that messed everything up.”
She released “Cry Pretty” in 2018 and wound up having the biggest week of any female artist for the entire year…
In 2020, she worked on some projects outside of the country genre, releasing a Christmas album, “My Gift,” as well as a Gospel collection, called “My Savior,” in 2021.
In 2022, she gave her country fans what they wanted, with the release of “Denim & Rhinestones.”
Underwood has been nominated for various awards 319 times, bringing home the hardware 187 times, making her one of the most successful country female artists of all time…
And to think, it all started with an appearance on “American Idol.”
