WWE wrestling legend Ric Flair made the startling announcement public on January 31st, look out ladies, ‘The Nature Boy’ is back! Flair took to social media to announce that he and his fifth wife since 2018 Wendy Barlow have separated. The sixteen-time (officially) WWE World Champion wrestler (claims vary from 16 to 25-time champion) posted about the split on Twitter writing,
“After Taking Some Time Apart, Wendy And I Have Decided To Go Our Separate Ways. Please Respect Our Privacy & Our Families During This Time!
I Will Love & Cherish All Of Our Memories Together Forever, And I Will Forever Be Thankful For All She Has Done To Make My Life Better!”

Ric Flair Might Be Handling Public Separation Better Than Anybody
Flair now 72-years-old was married to Barlow for four years and had met her in 1993 while both worked for WCW, World Championship Wrestling, the WWE’s main 1990’s competitor. Their association began with Barlow working as Flair’s valet.
Mr. Flair previously made headlines in August 2021 when he sought release from the WWE, comparatively his separation from Barlow seems far more amicable, although her Twitter account appears to have been purged.
Later the same day, Flair expanded on his initial post with a follow-up, asserting that living with him hasn’t been easy for Barlow and thanking her.
He wrote, “This Is An Opportunity For Wendy Who Spent Four Years Taking Care Of Me Every Day During My Period Of Illness. She Deserves Every Minute Of The Rest Of Her Life To Be Who She Is- Lovely, Kind Hearted, Intelligent; And Not Have To Take Care Of Me! FYI- Traveling Around The Country With Me Is Not An Easy Job! Thank You Wendy For All You Have Done! The Door Is Never Closed! Please Respect Who She Is & Who I Am.”
