A Girls With Guns Fully Automatic Bonanza!

Full Auto Muzzle Flashes
A Women Warrior firing a suppressed fully automatic Uzi 9mm.

One of the most difficult firearms techniques to perform is to accurately fire a fully automatic weapon.  The recoil can be overwhelming and can throw off the marksmanship of almost any shooter.  However, like in all firearms techniques, tactics, and skills, practice makes better.  Why not perfect?  Because perfect doesn’t exist in the realm of firearms.  There’s only crap, ok, and better.

AK47 now F*ckin’ stop that!

And the Women Warriors of the “Girls with Guns” YouTube channel are in the definitive better category in comparison to others.  In this video, several ladies demonstrate over a variety of platforms and calibers, how to shoot in full auto.  There’s 9mm, 5.56mm, 7.62x39mm and even the funky, FN 5.7mm, to name a few of the calibers.

Cut To The Chase

Lefty, Run Gun Heather showing how to operate an M4

This video is truly a 3 minute tour deforce of cut to the chase mag dumps and belt fed weapons chomping through round after round.  The unifying feature, other than the women, is the control exhibited, no matter the shooter or weapon. You’ll notice exaggerated stances by all of the ladies, regardless of weapon. Many of them lean into the weapon and push their stances forward.  This technique utilizes all of the muscles of the body to compensate for the massive recoil a fully automatic weapon delivers.

Open Fire!

Kat with an M4, learning the ropes of full auto.

The first weapon we see is a 5.56mm M4 utilized by Kat, the leader of the Girls With Guns group.  She dumps the mag in 2 quick bursts.  Her exhibition of control was apparent, but you’ll notice, she has some push back from the weapon, due to her stance not being that exaggerated.  Her feet are slightly over staggered, but not in a way that can truly utilize all the muscles of her body to stabilize the recoil.  The instructor uses his hand to hold her shoulder into position.  A smart move for any student learning to shoot full auto.

LMG, the Death Dealer

Blueberry Hill masterfully demonstrating a belt fed death dealing demon, the M60 Browning.

Next up we see Blueberry Hill firing an M60 browning belt fed LMG in the prone position.  This bipod based setup is the best way to minimize the massive recoil of a high caliber fully automatic belt fed .308 /7.62 NATO caliber Light Machine Gun.  You’ll notice in the slow motion shot that yes the gun is punishing Miss Hill in the shoulder with mule kicks of recoil.  However, if you look at the barrel of the weapon, it is staying almost exactly on target, and just moving forward and back with the weapons firing.  A visual confirmation of this most accurate fully automatic firing position.

Professionals

Run Gun Heather showing how it’s done y’all!

Next up you briefly see the lefty, Run Gun Heather, masterfully holding her 5.56mm M4 on target.  We can’t see her legs here, but later shots confirm, she exaggerates that stance greatly.  After that you see the automatic fire rookie, Kat, squeezing off accurate bursts from her weapon, an M4 or M16 variant, in 5.56mm.  This is a better job than the Ok job from the indoor shot that opened the video.

Blueberry Hill murdering that paper target with 30 rounds of 7.62x39mm.

The next shot we see Blueberry Hill demonstrating the proper stance to deliver an entire 30 round magazine of 7.62x39mm devastation all on target.  Note her exaggerated stance, how she leans forward into the weapon and drives the rounds down range and shreds that paper target.  This little ladies fiery red hair is a sign to not mess with this Women Warrior.  She knows how to handle business y’all.

Better Job

Kat with an FN P90. Sleek and sexy, just like her.

And now, back to the indoor range where Kat is firing an FN P90 in 5.7x28mm.  This hybrid rifle/pistol round is slightly larger than a standard 5.56x45mm rifle cartridge, but has a little less powder than it’s rifle cousin.  This round was created by Fabrique Nationale (FN) as an armor piecing SMG round for military and LE use.  The fire rate is through the roof at a whopping 850-1100 rounds a minute with a 50 round magazine, standard.  As you can see, this hybrid buzz saw is easily handled by Kat’s stance and this is a better operation of a fully automatic on her part.  She’s getting there.

This is the Way

Following Kat and her P90, we see that over exaggerated better stance of the lefty Heather. Notice how her weapon barely moves as her body absorbs all of the kick back recoil.  Her target is Swiss cheese y’all.  This chick knows how to do work.  After that we see another Woman Warrior with the CMMG Mutant, a 7.62x39mm hybrid with an M4 body, in fully automatic glory.  Now that’s a weapon I can get behind.

Tap Rack Pew Amy with a Steyr AUG 5.56 bull pup

A couple video clips later we see Amy with a Steyr Aug 5.56mm bull pup Assault Rifle.  This weapons system is different than all of the rest for one reason, the bull pup configuration.  Bull Pup means the magazine and firing chamber is placed behind the trigger.  This saves barrel length and reduces the overall size of the weapon.  But as you can see, the recoil here is relentless.  The design does not compensate for recoil at all.  That’s the trade off with bull pup, shorter barrel extension, maximum recoil, directly into your shoulder.  But it’s nothing that can’t be trained for.  Bull Pup weapons systems are the wave of the future it seems.  Even though this one was first designed in 1978.

Big Guns, Number 1!

Bringing the pain with the M2 Browning “Ma Deuce.”

And right at about a minute in, we see a .50 caliber Browning M2, or “Ma Deuce.”  this weapon is fixed on the back of a Sherman tank.  It only fires about 500 or so rounds a minute , but look at that barrels bounce and recoil when in fully automatic fire.  That gun is all over the place.  Just goes to show you bigger is not always better, but definitely, more inaccurate in fully automatic fire.  Best to fire in short controlled bursts here.  I have yet to feel the joy of operating one of these huge anti material weapons, but I hear it is like firing an orgasm.  Well, that’s what my combat marine vet buddies tell me.  “Get Some!”

There is so many ok and better renditions on how to shoot a fully automatic weapon in this video.  All of the ladies here are knowledgable about firearms and are aware of how and when to pull that full auto trigger.  Everyone in this video is someone who I wouldn’t mind being in a firefight with.  However, I would NOT want to oppose these ladies for any reason.  They can do work y’all.  Can you?
