In spite of headwinds, it is STILL HAPPENING. Officials with the Bikes, Blues, and BBQ Rally have announced that the annual, fall tradition of Northern Arkansas will still be going forward despite restrictions caused by COVID19, with a change in venue. in 2022 the event will now be held in Rogers, Arkansas instead of its typical Fayetteville home.
The Bikes, the babes, the delicious barbeque, food, drinks, and good times are definitely needed in the days of 2022. When there is so much to be anxious about, it’s nice to lean back and let the road lead you to a good ol’ fashion southern party.
This cold and rainy weather is making us miss September even more. Who else is ready for warmer weather and the 21st Annual Bikes, Blues and BBQ? ????

As described on their website, the Bikes, Blues & BBQ rally is “A Rally with a Purpose”
“Bikes, Blues, and BBQ is 501c3 Non-profit motorcycle rally with a purpose that benefits women, children, and the underserved members of the Northwest Arkansas community. Since the first Bikes, Blues, and BBQ we have donated in excess of $3 million to local charities. “
The Bikes, Blues, and BBQ Rally Adapts and Survives
The last two years haven’t seen the legendary rally return to Arkansas due to coronavirus restrictions and those same restrictions almost snuffed out the rally for the third year in a row.
According to CBS5 News,
“The University of Arkansas terminated its license agreement with organizers of the rally last year due to the surge in hospitalizations caused by COVID-19. That meant Baum-Walker Stadium could not be used as the event’s main stage, and university parking lots could not be used for the rally.”
So instead the rally will return from October 5th-8th, and according to Tommy Sisemore, the BBB Executive Director, they’ve already partnered with the Rogers-Lowell Chamber to tap into a wider market of Northern Arkansas.
“God willing, we will have a super cool event to make up for the lost ground over the last two years,” Sisemore said.
“It will be a good regional partnership but everyone in the region will still benefit from the impact,” said Raymond Burns, CEO of the Rogers-Lowell Chamber.
Rogers has a history of offering some fantastic barbecue having hosted the Frisco Inferno BBQ contest in September 2021 which seems to have served as an appropriate test run for the overall party to come.
