Davidoff Cigars Reveals Black Band Limited Edition in 2022

Davidoff has launched a limited edition Gran Toro cigar in 2022 that combines the tobaccos of the lines Escurio, Nicaragua, and Yamasá. The Limited Edition 2022 launches alongside an ingenious sliding ashtray ideal for all Davidoff cigars carrying the black band.

Davidoff Master Blenders have merged those landmark tobaccos from the successful Black Band Collection. The result is a varied blend combining the sweet taste of Davidoff Escurio, the strength of Davidoff Nicaragua, and the intricacy of Davidoff Yamasá.

The Gran Toro’s reasonably big ring gauge of 58 enables a greater amount of the Black Band Collection’s landmark tobaccos from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Brazil in the filler. As a result, decreased influence of the Ecuadorian wrapper tobacco results in an extremely balanced blend with strong intensity. Right from the start, the filler and binder tobaccos develop intense notes of leather, earth, and pepper. In the 2nd 3rd, strong notes of coffee, wood, and nuts promote the palate, only to conclude with cedarwood, dark chocolate, and leather aromas.

The 12 Gran Toro stogies come in a black box highlighted with a mixed trio logo. The colors and the leaf shapes nod to the origins of the blend and hence highlight the pre-existing Black Band Collection lines Escurio, Nicaragua, and Yamasá. The edition is limited to 13’500 boxes worldwide.

Sliding Ashtray

Together With the Limited Edition 2022, Davidoff launches a contemporary moving ashtray in two color variations that go perfectly with all Black Band stogies. It is made of robust products of such remarkably high quality that it can quickly handle the components outdoors. The smart shape imitating mountain peaks enables a cigar to rest securely on top. A sliding opening system exposes the roomy ash compartment that can be completely closed as well, thanks to strong embedded magnets. Every ashtray comes with a separate and equally captivating cigar stand as a 2nd choice to rest a cigar on.
