After the mansion broker advertised a couple of significant price reductions, it appears that casino magnate Steve Wynn’s Beverly Hills estate has dropped off the market. Either it sold for somewhere around $100 million or he decided to hang on to it for a little longer. He bought it in 2015 because he thought it would be the perfect place to store his Warhol collection.
Beverly Hills mansion
Billionaire casino owner Steve Wynn put his “spectacular” Beverly Hills mansion up for sale in January 2021, listing the property at $110 million. When he couldn’t find a buyer, Wynn zigged when he should have zagged and raised the price up to $125 million. That made it the most expensive house in California. Nobody bought it for that figure, either.
It went back down to $110m and rumors are swirling there was an offer of around $100m. Maybe he took it, maybe he didn’t. Either way, nobody is trying to sell it now.

The previous owner, Guess jeans co-founder Maurice Marciano, let Wynn have the mansion for a steal at “a snip under $48 million.” Since then, Wynn “has expanded the home dramatically during his ownership.”
For instance, around 8,000 square feet were added to the compound, “while transforming the living spaces into contemporary works of art.” The interior of the tri-level home measures in at 27,150 square feet of interior space.
The floor plan boasts 11 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. You can thank Roger Thomas for the interior design of the mansion. He made “vibrant furnishings meet high-end architectural elements, resulting in dramatic living areas with five-star hotel vibes.”

Examples include “a bar room, a movie theater, a wine cellar, a gym, an office and an elevator.” The wine cellar is the perfect place to “store prized bottles of vino.”
Three acres of property
The mansion is situated on nearly three acres of land, featuring a guesthouse, a swimming pool and tennis court. “Numerous terraces decorate the back of the house, allowing for priceless views over Downtown Los Angeles.”

For the convenience of domestic staff, “the estate offers three staff suites and two apartments for the owner’s security team.”
One of the most popular features of this mansion is the private art gallery, Andy Warhol pop art not included.
The neighbors jogging around the block are all Hollywood blockbuster types because the property is located “down a private lane in the celebrity-studded Benedict Canyon section of Beverly Hills.” He owns major pieces by Pablo Picasso and Claude Monet as well.

According to interior designer Roger Thomas, who’s decorated a number of Wynn resorts and casinos, “You can picture the property as one of his resorts. The land, the location, the structure, the bespoke design and the views, are all combined in this property.”
Other amenities in the mansion include a lanai, a pool, a pool house with a kitchen and a tennis court with a tennis house. There’s also a fully equipped gym and a massage room.
