It looks like AI has just accomplished another amazing feat: grilling. This brand new, world’s first AI-powered grill promises to cook your steak to perfection in just 90 seconds…but it is worth the price tag? Let’s find out.
If you’re a steak lover who’s been disappointed by the results of grilling your own steaks, there may be hope yet.
The Birmingham-based firm Seergrills is behind this incredible new product called Perfecta. The grill works by holding meat vertically, similar to how bread is held in a toaster, with ultra-hot grills on either side and data gathered from sensors inside the machine as well as inputted cooking preferences from the user.
With such precision and control over cooking times and temperatures, Perfecta promises perfectly cooked steak every time. But if you want one of these high tech grills for yourself, prepare your wallet; it comes with an eye-watering $3,500 price tag.
Suraj Sudera founded Seergrills after becoming dissatisfied with conventional steaks cooked on outside grills that often resulted in overcooked or dry meat taking too long to cook. He and his team set out to use their engineering skills to create a product that would revolutionize steak cooking methods forever – enter Perfecta.
Cooks don’t have to worry about flare ups caused by fat dripping into the flames because with Perfecta vertical burners emit infrared rays which generate higher temperatures up to 1,652°F (900°C), while a gas burner typically reaches around 500°F to 600°F.
This helps ensure fast even cooking which prevents overheating and risk of fire – all while optimizing conditions for the Maillard reaction which gives browned food its unique flavor.
With this AI powered technology users can also select from different cuts of meat, wellness levels (rare/well done) sear levels and cook other foods like chicken and fish without worrying about salmonella poisoning due to longer cooking times for poultry items.
Plus- they can even remove the vertical metal grid insert their pizza dough directly into the machine for ultra-hot oven style pizza.
