Go-Karts are a great beginning if you want exciting thrills for the whole family. Those lucky enough to live in the vicinity of Edison, New Jersey can visit the “World’s Largest” track opening December 16. They’re kicking off the fun with a “VIP exclusive event.”
Supercharged thrills in New Jersey
The Supercharged Entertainment go-kart track is centrally located in Edison, New Jersey to grace the entire tri-state area with reasonably priced thrills. The 131,000-square-foot facility, slated to open soon, will do it all in style. Described as a “massive indoor go-kart racing course,” it’s actually the “world’s largest.”
Hardcore kart racers will appreciate the 26 foot wide track featuring “13 left turns, 12 right turns and 10 elevation changes.” Experienced drivers over age 15 can climb into karts which can hit 45 mph.
While everyone in the family CAN enjoy the thrills of a quick spin around the intricate tri-level half-mile track, not ALL your family members may want to. The hosts have them covered as well.

“We’re beyond thrilled to show all of New Jersey, and New York and Pennsylvania too, all the exhilarating and insane fun our Edison venue has to offer,” Stephen Sangermano, Supercharged Entertainment’s president invites.
Situated along Route 1 South, just 14 minutes from the Outerbridge Crossing, the facility “is situated on a 16-acre complex that also features a restaurant and two bars.” While the venue is “bringing over a half-mile of drivable track to the area.”
They also have “a two-story arcade, 19 axe-throwing lanes, a Drop-and-Twist tower ride and an immersive virtual reality space.” Everything you would expect for family thrills, and then some. The arcade levels feature 140 games as well as bumper cars.

VIP Grand opening
All the entertainment you need to scorch your brain’s pleasure center will begin Friday, December 16, with an early admission Grand Opening event. “tickets are available now in limited quantities,” Supercharged Entertainment notes on their website. They’re offering a “Golden Ticket VIP Exclusive Experience” to pre-registered guests.
They’re “inviting 75 people into the space per hour starting at noon” on the big day. For the rest of the weekend, they’ll let in another group every hour on the hour until 10 p.m. You can get details of all the VIP thrills on their page.
Prices for the big event are at a premium compared to what they’ll be for the general public. “Each Golden Ticket costs $50 and admits one individual — granting the ticket-holder 50% off all activities (excluding alcohol) for the designated time of their event access.”

Along with the VIP thrills, the track’s Burgers & Brews restaurant will be featuring a special menu.
All their guests, even after the VIP event they promise, “will be blown away” by the food offerings “which will feature burgers, fries, ‘insane‘ milkshakes and ‘world-class’ cocktails.” They’re “putting drinks at this bar and food at this restaurant that guests are not going to expect.”
Just don’t have too many cocktails before you climb into a go-kart. After the opening weekend, the thrills won’t exactly be “cheap” but they’ll be more reasonable. “A single race will cost $29 per person, a five-race bundle will cost $125 and a 60-minute session for axe-throwing will cost $28 per person.“
