Greek Chicken Marinade
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp dried parsley
- 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
Instructions
- Combine the olive oil, crushed garlic, oregano, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, salt and pepper in a bowl or plastic zipper bag.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Place the chicken on a grill that has been preheated to medium heat, around 350°F.
- Grill the chicken for 7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest 5 minutes before serving.
