culinary

Connoisseurs will soon be able to take their Rasta-recipes to brand new heights of culinary excellence because West Blvd Cannabis in Vancouver, Canada has a brand new test lab that looks a lot like a kitchen. The best news is that it’s open to the public.

Culinary test kitchen

West Blvd Cannabis wants to “usher in a new era of cannabis and food culture” so they’re paving the way with their culinary test kitchen in Mount Pleasant.

The project is backed by a team of four entrepreneurs who were all well familiar with the Vancouver area, after living there since birth. Connor McNamee, Nico Sto Tomas, Brad Quevillon and Cayli Weinberg.

The group came up with the innovative idea of opening the “first culinary cannabis facility in Canada.”

While doing that, they became “the first micro-processing and cannabis” manufacturing facility approved by the City of Vancouver.”

They even got a write-up in Dished Vancouver.

The culinary magazine notes “that in addition to being a space to host educational seminars, the state-of-the-art test kitchen will serve as a hub to create and develop cutting-edge infused products such as THC/CBD olive oil and coconut oil.”

On-site palatability testing

If you happen to be in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, feel free to drop in for a culinary grade test snack. WBC will be hosting “on-site palatability testing for new product development and educational events.” Their CEO is overjoyed.

We’re ecstatic to share this new facility with the Canadian cannabis industry,” Connor McNamee announced. “It’s been years in the making, and to finally be testing and developing unique products on-site feels surreal.”

They get to cook gourmet culinary cannabis for more than just their buddies.

To bring this to life with my closest friends, and offer the industry a purpose-built space to propel cannabis forward, is a dream come true.” It’s a win-win solution for the entire cannabis community.

After their trained culinary experts get done baking and infusing and concocting things until they figure out the best way of doing them, consumers can expect to find WBC brand products at legal cannabis retailers as soon as this spring.

They already have firm plans to release “THC and CBD cooking oils, teas, and gummies” in the summer.
